Get Involved

There are many ways to share our mission. Donating to Sojourn is helping a local non-profit organization in your community. Every donation directly benefits adult and child survivors of domestic violence. Whether you make a monetary donation or donate items, it goes a long way toward helping survivors. You are helping your neighbor, friend or family member grow a safe life that is free of violence. By providing this funding, and/or partnering in our mission, we together will make genuine improvements to create better outcomes.

Volunteering and funding programming impacts survivors and shows that you share our passion for the care of others.

Daily operations, like with any household, takes a toll on consumables. Laundry, cleaning,

cough syrup, toilet paper, coloring books and crayons for the kiddos, food items for clients- it's all important and hard to keep stocked!

So check out our Wish List! Next time you're shopping, or on Amazon, please think of us if you can. Even an item or two is a big help- please...and thank you!

Bequest gifts: These enable you to receive an estate tax deduction, reducing the burden of taxes on your family. They also leave a lasting legacy to charity. An attorney or estate planner can help you include a bequest to Sojourn Shelter & Services.

Gifts of Stocks and Bonds: Donating appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds, is an easy and tax-effective way for you to make a gift.
Gifts of Real Estate: Donating appreciated real estate, such as a home, vacation property, undeveloped land, farmland, ranch or commercial property can make a great gift and also provide tax savings.
Gifts of Retirement Assets: Donating part or all of your unused retirement assets such as a gift from your IRA 401(k), 403(b), pension, or other tax-deferred plan is an excellent way to make a gift.
Gifts of Insurance: A gift of your life insurance policy is an excellent way to make a gift to charity. If you have a life insurance policy that has outlasted its original purpose, consider gifting it to Sojourn Shelter & Services. For example, you may have purchased a policy to provide for minor children and they are now financially independent adults.
